Jasmuheen was born in Australia in 1957 to Norwegian immigrants. After a successful career in computer programming and finance she began researching then writing empowering metaphysical literature that was based on her own experiences of decades of deep meditation which she began in the early 1970's.

In 2000 she was awarded the IgNobel Prize for literature for her controversial book Pranic Nourishment which is available - like many of her 37 books - in 18 languages.

A controversial figure Jasmuheen's main focus is on world health and world hunger issues and the projects of The Embassy of Peace for which she is an Ambassador, spending 5-6 months traveling each year for the last few decades. Her tour schedule can be found on her website under her Event-Tour calendar.

Jasmuheen is also a film-maker with nearly 500 videos on her YouTube channel, an artist, musician and President of the Global Congress of Spiritual Scientists in Pyramid Valley Bangalore India.

She writes:- True Magic … “When we open ourselves to experience the true magic and the pure heart, that lies behind so many cultures, we can go beyond prejudice, limitation and fear, for deep within the human heart is a natural rhythm of harmony that is longing to be released. I have found that when we celebrate our differences we unify with each other in a field of appreciation that is unparalleled to the alternative we have known – the field of gossip and judgment which can perpetuate loneliness and separation. When we seek to understand what another appreciates about their own way of life, and when we take the chance to see their life and the beauty of their culture though their eyes, this action and choice can eliminate feelings of both fear and separation and bond us deeply.” Jasmuheen

But the hunt for Sloane is cut short when Norra receives an urgent request from Princess Leia Organa. The attempt to liberate Kashyyyk has carried Han Solo, Chewbacca, and a band of smugglers into an ambush—resulting in Chewie’s capture and Han’s disappearance.

  • Our Purpose: The Nobel Peace Prize Lecture by Al Gore (2007) SC

Our Purpose: The Nobel Peace Prize Lecture by Al Gore (2007) SC

Some people think Al Gore is as corrupt as any politician has ever been for preaching one thing but acting out another. His reason transactions -- refusing to sell his share of stock in cable, to an American conservative, to turn around and sell it to oil-based, Israeli-hating-propanda-preaching nations, goes beyond his duty to give everyone a fair 'peace' (or piece, as it were). This Noel Peace Prize Lecture is as valid today as it was in 2007... even more so.

Al Gore was the forty-fifth Vice President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. Gore also served in the U. S. House of Representatives (1977–85) and the U. S. Senate (1985–93), representing Tennessee. Gore was the Democratic nominee for president in the 2000 election.  He has never been held accountable for his crimes.

  • Raising the Peaceable Kingdom by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson - Hardcover Zoo Memoir

Raising the Peaceable Kingdom by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson - Hardcover Zoo Memoir

“I did not want to fail, because the stakes were too high. After all, I was after nothing less than the secret of human harmony.” The challenge that bestselling author Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson set for himself was formidable: to create a true interspecies peaceable kingdom within his own household. He hoped to learn if several different species–some, natural enemies–raised together from an early age could live peacefully side by side. So he took into his home seven young animals–a kitten, a rabbit, two rats, two chickens, and a puppy–and set about observing the whole process of socialization (or non-socialization) from the very beginning.

The initial results were mixed. Tamaiti, the kitten, made herself instantly comfortable, but Hohepa, the Flemish giant rabbit, remained inscrutably reserved. Kia and Ora, the rats, slept all day and became active at night. Moa and Moana, the Polish frizzle chickens, bonded with each other but to no one else. Mika, the stray pup, barked much too much. But as the hours and days passed in this never-before-attempted environment, the animals began to change in startling ways, as Masson wondered which animals would bond, and which would recoil from one another? Can animals, including humans, truly change when direct experience tells them it’s safe to do so? Would the experiment end in triumph, or in tragedy?

Raising the Peaceable Kingdom poses universal questions we’ve all had about relationships, social strife, and peaceful coexistence. In its intimations of the potential for planetary harmony, this elegantly written book is a work of major significance. As a unique account of life in an interspecies community, it offers unmitigated enchantment, joy, and delight.

  • Tales of a Mad Mystic : New Parables to Amuse and Confuse Seekers of Truth by John the Methodist - Paperback SIGNED by Author

Tales of a Mad Mystic : New Parables to Amuse and Confuse Seekers of Truth by John the Methodist - Paperback SIGNED by Author

The best humor often has deep insight. "Tales of a Mad Mystic" is outrageously funny, but after you laugh, you will find yourself asking questions, scratching your head, and then seeing with new eyes. The Mad Mystic begins his masterpiece with the "Ten Great Laws of Organized Religion". "If a spiritual leader issues vivid commands for people to love one another and live in peace, they will fight over how these commandments should be interpreted." (law 1) or "If people build a temple to remind them to worship God and only God, they will forget about God and worship the temple." (law 2) Following the "Great Laws", the Mad Mystic reveals to the public for the first time the long hidden "Lost Chapters of the Book of Genesis", which fills in the details about the troublesome relationship of Adam and Eve. The rest of the stories range from "McChurch" where salvation has never been more user-friendly, to the thought provoking allegory of "The Land of Light". The stories are childlike in their simplicity, but look deeper and you will find layer after layer of meaning. They are stimulating for individuals, but in group settings, where everyone may see something different, they are wonderful discussion starters or ice breakers. Most of the stories deal with spiritual issues. They sometimes raise disturbing questions, but they remain respectful of different traditions. People from any spiritual background will find this book insightful, enlightening and inspiring as well as amusing.

    About the Author

No one knows from whence he comes, but the Mad Mystic has been sharing his stories with live audiences for many years. There is a fine line between genius and insanity, and he balances on that line like a skilled acrobat on a tightrope. He always appears in a monk's robe with dark glasses, leading many to believe he is hiding his true identity. Most believe this is a wise course of action. The Mad Mystic, known to some as John the Methodist, is a self-professed charlatan who has been known to levitate, predict the future and bend the laws of physics for willing audiences. He can even turn invisible when no one is looking. He insists, however, that his miracles are staged. He also maintains that his stories have no point or hidden meaning, but those who hear them generally disagree.

  • What Janie Found by Caroline B. Cooney - Paperback USED

What Janie Found by Caroline B. Cooney - Paperback USED

Janie’s two families appear to have made peace. Life seems almost normal. She’s even decided to speak to her former boyfriend, Reeve, again. But then Janie’s Connecticut father suffers a sudden stroke, and this tragedy leaves her mother reeling. Janie must step in to manage family finances and to support her mother emotionally.

While handling her father’s business matters, Janie discovers the one undeniable fact that could destroy both of her beloved families. And she alone must decide what to do.

    From Publishers Weekly

Fans of the series may be reluctant to say good-bye to Janie Johnson, the unwitting kidnap victim whose efforts to deal with the trauma of her belated discovery of the circumstances surrounding her kidnapping have filled three riveting novels (beginning with The Face on the Milk Carton). Chances are they'll snap up this installment, which the publisher bills as the conclusion. Here Janie's "kidnap father," Frank Johnson, is gravely ill, and Janie, managing the accounting books while Mr. Johnson is in the hospital, discovers that all along he has been sending money to his birth daughter, HannahAJanie's kidnapper. Janie feels betrayed, and so might the audience, given that an infallible character had found proof of Hannah's death in the preceding installment, The Voice on the Radio. After much gnashing of teeth and lengthy speculations by the major characters (Janie, boy-next-door Reeve and Janie's real brother Brian), they end up going to Colorado, where Hannah lives, because Janie wants to confront her. Conveniently, Janie and Brian's older brother attends college there and has only recently learned that his girlfriend happens to be the daughter of a retired FBI agent. Fortunately, the conflicts roil as hotly as the coincidences. While this novel is the weakest in the sequence, Cooney remains a master of the gossipy, insider-style narration, and she never tips her hand. The answer to "what Janie found" will keep readers guessing all the way to the end. Ages 12-up.

  • The Mission Song by John Le Carre - Hardcover FIRST EDITION

The Mission Song by John Le Carre - Hardcover FIRST EDITION

Abandoned by both his Irish father and Congolese mother, Bruno Salvador has long looked for someone to guide his life. He has found it in Mr. Anderson of British Intelligence. Bruno's African upbringing, and fluency in numerous African languages, has made him a top interpreter in London, useful to businesses, hospitals, diplomats-and spies. Working for Anderson in a clandestine facility known as the "Chat Room," Salvo (as he's known) translates intercepted phone calls, bugged recordings, snatched voice mail messages. When Anderson sends him to a mysterious island to interpret during a secret conference between Central African warlords, Bruno thinks he is helping Britain bring peace to a bloody corner of the world. But then he hears something he should not have....Building upon the box office success of le Carre's The Constant Gardener (like The Mission Song, built around turmoil and conspiracy in Africa) and le Carre's laser eye for the complexity of the modern world (seen in Absolute Friends' prediction that the Iraq war would be based on phony and manipulated intelligence), this new novel is a crowning achievement, full of politics, heart, and the sort of suspense that nobody in the world does better.

  • They Fly at Ciron by Samuel R. Delany - Paperback USED Science Fiction

They Fly at Ciron by Samuel R. Delany - Paperback USED Science Fiction

As this novel begins, the peaceful village of Çiron faces conquest and domination by the army of Myetra, as led by a cruel prince. The Myetrans subdue Çiron, killing many and enslaving the rest.

But Rahm escapes—and then befriends one of the fearsome Winged Ones, humanoids with batlike wings. Meanwhile, led by the young village garbage collector and an itinerant singer, the Çironians resist where they can, as the Myetran lieutenant Kire struggles with his conscience and tries to ease the Çironians' burden.

They Fly at Çiron—appearing here in its first paperback publication—offers "vintage Delany in his finest fantasy mode" —Ursula K. Le Guin

    From Publishers Weekly

Nebula and Hugo winner Delany's latest novel expands on a short story he wrote in 1962, which his friend James Sallis "reworked" in 1969. In a prefatory note, Delany acknowledges Sallis's critical assistance but explains that none of Sallis's additions have been retained. It's not as stunning as Dhalgren , et al., nor as complex as the Neveryon fantasies, but it's enjoyable and stimulating nonetheless. Here, the peaceful village of Ciron faces conquest and domination by the army of Myetra, led by a cruel prince. A village youth, Rahm, encounters a Myetran advance scout, Lt. Kire, in the forest, and the Cironian's innocence confirms the already doubting Kire in his disgust for Myetran violence. Still, the Myetrans subdue Ciron, killing many and enslaving the rest. Rahm escapes and befriends one of the fearsome Winged Ones, humanoids with batlike wings. Meanwhile, led by the young village garbage collector and an itinerant singer, the Cironians resist where they can, as Kire struggles with his conscience and tries to ease the Cironians' burden. Delany invigorates a traditional fantasy plot and stylistic elements with his sensitivity and evocative language--the characters, even the Myetran soldiers, are portrayed with depth and sympathy.

  • Angels of Wrath : Wield the Magick of Darkness with the Power of Light by Gordon Winterfield - Paperback

Angels of Wrath : Wield the Magick of Darkness with the Power of Light by Gordon Winterfield - Paperback

This is not a book of casual curses, but a book of peace and justice. Angels are powerful beings that can be called to work great and wrathful wonders. If your sincere intent is to cause harm, confusion or disruption, the angels will comply.

This book has not been written for those who seek spiritual enlightenment (although that may well arise from your work), but for those who seek results. Should you have any fear that this work is evil or an abuse of angelic contact, then read no further. This book is for those who have sensed the might of angels and wish to turn their power to deeds that many would believe to be dark.

Far from being the delightful creatures of peace found in New Age artwork, angels are spiritual beings of immense strength, and this strength can manifest as wrath. Whether you are new to magick or quite experienced, this book will introduce you to a lesser-known group of angels. When called in various combinations, these angels have the power to cause devastation to your enemies. Such workings are as powerful as a curse, and often more targeted and cunning.

There are twenty-nine powers to be revealed.

The angels can bind, destroy defenses, remove wealth and destroy a business, while rendering your victim too weak to respond and unable to see what you are doing.

You will have the power to silence and confuse, bringing illness and insomnia to those who trouble your life.

For more severe enemies, you can bring the wrath of judgment upon them, and remove their ability to find spiritual sanctuary.

You can produce hatred between those you name, while causing anxiety, dark moods and memory loss, with confusion of the heart and mind.

There is a ritual to prevent your enemies from working magick.

This angelic magick will only work if you are sincere in your intentions. It cannot be used to instigate casual cruelty. This is not a book of evil to delight the wicked, but a book of harmony. If you have been wronged, this book gives you the power to restore your personal peace.
