  • Dreams of Light by Andrew Holecek - Paperback Nonfiction

Dreams of Light by Andrew Holecek - Paperback Nonfiction

A world-renowned expert in lucid dreaming and Tibetan dream yoga guides us into the tradition’s daytime practices, a complement to the nighttime practices taught in his previous book Dream Yoga.

Most of us are absolutely certain that we’re awake here and now―it’s a given, right? Yet, according to Tibet’s dream yoga tradition, ordinary waking life is no more real than the illusions of our nightly dreams.

In his previous book Dream Yoga, Andrew Holecek guided us into Tibetan Buddhism’s nocturnal path of lucid dreaming and other dimensions of sleeping consciousness. Now, with Dreams of Light, he offers us an in-depth, step-by-step guide to its daytime practices.

Known as the “illusory form” practices, these teachings include insights, meditations, and actions to help us realize the dreamlike nature of our lives. Through an immersive exploration of the tradition, beginners and seasoned practitioners alike will learn everything they need to deeply transform both their sleeping and waking hours.

“If you’ve struggled to awaken in your dreams,” teaches Holecek, “these techniques will often spark spontaneous lucidity during sleep. And if you’re already a successful lucid dreamer, they will open you to new depths of experience throughout your day.”

For those wishing to explore Tibetan Buddhism’s profound path for awakening to the true nature of reality―day or night―Dreams of Light shows us the way.

  • Decoding Jung's Metaphysics by Bernardo Kastrup - Paperback Philosophy

Decoding Jung's Metaphysics by Bernardo Kastrup - Paperback Philosophy

More than an insightful psychologist, Carl Gustav Jung was the twentieth century's greatest articulator of the primacy of mind in nature, a view whose origins vanish behind the mists of time. Underlying Jung's extraordinary body of work, and providing a foundation for it, there is a broad and sophisticated system of metaphysical thought. This system, however, is only implied in Jung's writings, so as to shield his scientific persona from accusations of philosophical speculation. The present book scrutinizes Jung’s work to distil and reveal that extraordinary, hidden metaphysical treasure: for Jung, mind and world are one and the same entity; reality is fundamentally experiential, not material; the psyche builds and maintains its body, not the other way around; and the ultimate meaning of our sacrificial lives is to serve God by providing a reflecting mirror to God’s own instinctive mentation. Embodied in this compact volume is a journey of discovery through Jungian thoughtscapes never before revealed with the depth, force and scholarly rigor you are about to encounter.

First Person : A Novel by Richard Flanagan - Hardcover Haunting Journey into the Heart of Our Age

Kif Kehlmann, a young, penniless writer, thinks he’s finally caught a break when he’s offered $10,000 to ghostwrite the memoir of Siegfried “Ziggy” Heidl, the notorious con man and corporate criminal. Ziggy is about to go to trial for defrauding banks for $700 million; they have six weeks to write the book.

“Richard Flanagan is among the most versatile writers in the English language. That he is also an environmental activist and the author of numerous influential works of nonfiction makes his achievement all the more remarkable. Each of Flanagan’s seven novels is distinct from the others, as if they are by different writers; each is a tour de force of its own kind, and several have been called ‘masterpieces’ by reviewers—as if a gifted writer might be expected to have a ‘masterpiece’ with each publication rather than once in a career . . . First Person is a kind of twenty-first-century Picture of Dorian Gray . . . Epiphanies and aphorisms abound: gem-like remarks [and] unexpected insights.”—Joyce Carol Oates, New York Review of Books

But Ziggy swiftly proves almost impossible to work with: evasive, contradictory, and easily distracted by his still-running “business concerns”—which Kif worries may involve hiring hitmen from their shared office. Worse, Kif finds himself being pulled into an odd, hypnotic, and ever-closer orbit of all things Ziggy. As the deadline draws near, Kif becomes increasingly unsure if he is ghostwriting a memoir, or if Ziggy is rewriting him—his life, his future, and the very nature of the truth.

By turns comic, compelling, and finally chilling, First Person is a haunting look at an age where fact is indistinguishable from fiction, and freedom is traded for a false idea of progress.

Lifespan : Why We Age―and Why We Don't Have To by David A. Sinclair, PhD - Illustrated Hardcover

    A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

“Brilliant and enthralling.” —The Wall Street Journal

A paradigm-shifting book from an acclaimed Harvard Medical School scientist and one of Time’s most influential people.

It’s a seemingly undeniable truth that aging is inevitable. But what if everything we’ve been taught to believe about aging is wrong? What if we could choose our lifespan?

In this groundbreaking book, Dr. David Sinclair, leading world authority on genetics and longevity, reveals a bold new theory for why we age. As he writes: “Aging is a disease, and that disease is treatable.”

This eye-opening and provocative work takes us to the frontlines of research that is pushing the boundaries on our perceived scientific limitations, revealing incredible breakthroughs—many from Dr. David Sinclair’s own lab at Harvard—that demonstrate how we can slow down, or even reverse, aging. The key is activating newly discovered vitality genes, the descendants of an ancient genetic survival circuit that is both the cause of aging and the key to reversing it. Recent experiments in genetic reprogramming suggest that in the near future we may not just be able to feel younger, but actually become younger.

Through a page-turning narrative, Dr. Sinclair invites you into the process of scientific discovery and reveals the emerging technologies and simple lifestyle changes—such as intermittent fasting, cold exposure, exercising with the right intensity, and eating less meat—that have been shown to help us live younger and healthier for longer. At once a roadmap for taking charge of our own health destiny and a bold new vision for the future of humankind, Lifespan will forever change the way we think about why we age and what we can do about it.

  • Playthings of the Gods by Walter Vetsch - Paperback Whistleblower

Playthings of the Gods by Walter Vetsch - Paperback Whistleblower

You live under a cult. This cult controls your life, and it controls your life to your detriment. If you expect any relief from your situation in the future, you must at the very least become aware of the true nature of your situation. Otherwise you will continue to be "playthings of the gods"...

Walter Carnot Vetsch was born in 1947 in Louisiana, with a gift that he himself defines as the "unlearned knowledge." Many of us, over the years, generally acquire a degree of wisdom, which cannot be learned in schools. When we pass away, this knowledge dissolves in the universal consciousness, so, when we're back here in our next incarnation, we usually have to start everything from scratch. This was not the case of Walter. From his earliest years, he knew exactly what "reality" really was, how it worked, and what were the forces that made it work. He knew that this knowledge was true, and the best confirmation of it was that when, in the end of the 1960s, he decided to expose this knowledge in a book, those same forces violently opposed to it.

"All that I write," Walter says, "is based on the material I was able to bring through from before I was born here. This is what triggered the people who look for that sort of stuff, persons with 'unlearned knowledge,' which could upset a system where knowledge is controlled."

Living in the Heart : How to Enter into the Sacred Space within the Heart (with CD) by Drunvalo Melchizedek - Paperback

Long ago we humans used a form of communication and sensing that did not involve the brain in any way; rather, it came from a sacred place within our hearts. What good would it do to find this place again?

This is a book of remembering. You have always had this place within your heart, and it is still there now. It existed before creation, and it will exist even after the last star shines its brilliant light. At night when you enter your dreams, you leave your mind and enter the sacred space of your heart. But do you remember? Or do you only remember the dream?

Why am I telling you about this "something" that is fading from our memories? What good would it do to find this place again in a world where the greatest religion is science and the logic of the mind? Don't I know where emotions and feelings are second-class citizens?

Yes, I do. But my teachers have asked me to remind you who you really are. You are more than just a human being, much more. For within your heart is a place, a sacred place, where the world can literally be remade through conscious cocreation. If you really want peace of spirit and if you want to return home, I invite you into the beauty of your own heart. With your permission, I will show you what has been shown to me. I will give you the exact instructions to the pathway into your heart where you and God are intimately one.

It is your choice. But I must warn you: Within this experience resides great responsibility. Life knows when a spirit is born to the higher worlds, and life will use you as all the great masters who have ever lived have been used. If you read this book and do the meditation and then expect nothing to change in your life, you may get caught spiritually napping. Once you have entered the light of the great darkness, your life will change -- eventually, you will remember who you really are; eventually your life will become a life of service to humanity.

In the last two chapters reside a surprise and a glimpse of great hope. The human lightbody that surrounds the body for about fifty-five to sixty feet in diameter, the Mer-Ka-Ba (which I wrote about in my first two books, The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life (Volumes I and II), has a secret inherently connected to this sacred space of the heart. If you are practicing the Mer-Ka-Ba meditation in your life, I believe you will find the information in this book to be paramount to your journey of ascension into the higher worlds of light. If you are only interested in the sacred space of the heart, may these words be a blessing in your life and help you remember your true nature.

One last comment. This book is written with the least amount of words possible to convey the meaning and to keep the integrity of the essence of this experience. The images are purposefully simple. It is written from the heart, not the mind.

  • An Unlikely Prophet : A Metaphysical Memoir by the Legendary Writer of Superman and Batman by Alvin Schwartz - Paperback

An Unlikely Prophet : A Metaphysical Memoir by the Legendary Writer of Superman and Batman by Alvin Schwartz - Paperback

A profound investigation into the shifting nature of identity and reality

“Schwartz weaves a tale that lingers with you long after the read concludes. Symbolism, masked in the 'ordinary' details of Schwartz's life, is potently and subtly utilized.”—Bob Hughes, ConsciousMedia.com

    • Looks at the ways thought is embodied and how it takes on a life of its own

    • Shows how Superman, an archetype of popular culture, is a perfect example of the nonlocality of quantum physics

Writer Alvin Schwartz received a great deal of attention from fans when he began talking publicly about his seventeen-year stint writing Superman and Batman comics. One of the individuals who contacted him was no ordinary fan, but a seven-foot Buddhist monk named Thongden, a tulpa or individual who was thought into being by a Tibetan mystic. Thongden put Alvin Schwartz on the path without form, an amazing journey he took in the company of Hawaiian kahunas, quantum physicists, and superheroes. Superman, as it turns out, is also a tulpa, a being created by thought that takes on a life of its own and, in Mr. Schwartz’s words, is an archetype expressing the sense of nonlocality that is always present in the back of our minds--that capacity to be everywhere instantly. Superman is one of the specific forms that embodies our reality when we’re at our highest point, when we’re truly impermeable, indestructible, totally concentrated, and living entirely in the now, a condition each of us actually attains from time to time.

Alvin Schwartz’s story is a personal journey through a lifelong remembrance of synchronicity, inspiration, accident, and magic. As it unfolds it puts into vivid clarity the saving grace that inhabits every moment of our lives. The author travels as a stranger in a strange land, whose greatest oddity is that this land is our own.

Joe Gould's Teeth by Jill Lepore - Hardcover American History

From New Yorker staff writer and Harvard historian Jill Lepore, the dark, spellbinding tale of her restless search for the long-lost, longest book ever written, a century-old manuscript called “The Oral History of Our Time.”

“A breezy, compulsively readable inquiry that touches on several big subjects, including what constitutes due diligence in journalism versus in history…No one could accuse Lepore of shoddy research: Undaunted by archives, she pores over reams of Gould’s letters and diaries, pans for gold in Mitchell’s boxes of notes at the New York Public Library, and corroborates her findings with extensive footnotes.….Joe Gould’s Teeth is more than just a fascinating footnote to a beloved literary landmark. Using the tools of her trade, Lepore ended up broadening her search for his lost notebooks to encompass trenchant questions about journalism, race, and mental illness. The result has bite.” Heller McAlpin, NPR

Joe Gould, a madman, believed he was the most brilliant historian of the twentieth century. So did some of his friends, a group of modernist writers and artists that included E. E. Cummings, Marianne Moore, William Carlos Williams, John Dos Passos, and Ezra Pound. Gould began his life’s work before the First World War, announcing that he intended to write down nearly everything anyone ever said to him. “I am trying to preserve as much detail as I can about the normal life of every day people,” he explained, because “as a rule, history does not deal with such small fry.” By 1942, when The New Yorker published a profile of Gould written by the reporter Joseph Mitchell, Gould’s manuscript had grown to more than nine million words. But when Gould died in 1957, in a mental hospital, the manuscript was nowhere to be found. Then, in 1964, in “Joe Gould’s Secret,” a second profile, Mitchell claimed that “The Oral History of Our Time” had been, all along, merely a figment of Gould’s imagination. Lepore, unpersuaded, decided to find out.

Joe Gould’s Teeth is a Poe-like tale of detection, madness, and invention. Digging through archives all over the country, Lepore unearthed evidence that “The Oral History of Our Time” did in fact once exist. Relying on letters, scraps, and Gould’s own diaries and notebooks—including volumes of his lost manuscript—Lepore argues that Joe Gould’s real secret had to do with sex and the color line, with modernists’ relationship to the Harlem Renaissance, and, above all, with Gould’s terrifying obsession with the African American sculptor Augusta Savage. In ways that even Gould himself could not have imagined, what Gould wrote down really is a history of our time: unsettling and ferocious.

“A well-aimed hand grenade of a book, fiercely concentrated in its precision and unflinching in its revelations. Best-selling Lepore’s exciting approach to hidden and scandalous historical stories is drawing an enthusiastic, ever-growing readership that will be well primed for this thoughtful exposé.” Booklist, *starred review*

“Engrossing…. Lepore’s book is as much about all the people, including herself, who project meaning and significance onto the work and personality of Joe Gould as it is about the man himself. Throughout history there have been peculiar characters who have captured the imagination of everyone they come into contact with, blinding them to obvious flaws and permitting all of us to imagine wonders just beyond what most of us can fathom. We owe Lepore a debt of gratitude for re-introducing us to one of the strangest strangers to have ever walked among us.” —Chicago Tribune

“Revelatory….Lepore’s inquiry, which first appeared as a long New Yorker article, discovers richer depths to Gould’s character than Mitchell ever explored, even if Gould’s likability is a casualty…. an impressive study of paradoxes….Lepore, a young prolific academic at the other end of the productivity spectrum from Mitchell, has upended the subject and author of the New Yorker’s most-read article….she ends up with more to get your teeth into.” —San Francisco Chronicle

“Marvelous….Lepore has established herself as perhaps the most prolific, nimble and interesting writer of American history today, vigorously kicking at the past until she dislodges it from the ossifying grip of received wisdom…. As she brings to bear the methods of an ace historian at the top of her game, Lepore turns “Joe Gould’s Teeth” into a ripping detective story….Of all the stories swirling around Gould’s, none interests Lepore so much as that of Augusta Savage, an African American sculptor and civil rights activist from Harlem who became the unreciprocated love of Gould’s life, an unwilling muse and, after she refused his offer of marriage, an object of outright harassment. No other writer has made this connection between Savage and Gould, and one of the central satisfactions of “Joe Gould’s Teeth” is the way it unexpectedly veers away from Gould to take Savage’s story on its own terms, delivering by Trojan horse, as it were, a gift-wrapped second biography, a personal history set against Gould’s in striking, illuminating relief.” —The Washington Post

“Lepore has taken up the mantle of literary resurrectionist, and in ‘Joe Gould’s Teeth’ she succeeds despite the unsavory nature of her subject’s life and spurious literary legacy. Lepore shrewdly recounts her quest to find a near-mythical ‘lost’ manuscript by her subject, the New York eccentric who claimed to have written down nearly everything anyone ever said to him, starting before the outbreak of World War I….A madman’s grossly engrossing tale.” —The New York Times

  • The Thomas Code : Solving the Mystery of the Gospel of Thomas by S. P. Laurie - Paperback

The Thomas Code : Solving the Mystery of the Gospel of Thomas by S. P. Laurie - Paperback

Jesus said: "I have cast fire upon the world..."

An enigmatic manuscript. A secret lost for 2,000 years. The discovery that shines new light on Christianity.

The Thomas Code uncovers and explains the mathematical secret of the Gospel of Thomas. This fascinating book takes the reader on a journey of discovery involving an ancient mathematical code, sayings of Jesus that are riddles we must solve, and a Gospel whose structure is more advanced than anything else known from antiquity. The book demonstrates how this extraordinary Gospel is earlier than the four gospels in the bible.

The Gospel of Thomas was esteemed among early Christians. But after it was declared heretical by the church, all copies were destroyed. Long thought to have been lost, it was recovered in 1945 from a codex buried in a jar in the Egyptian desert. Unlike the New Testament gospels, Thomas is a list of sayings spoken by Jesus. Some are familiar, while others are strange and mysterious. Even odder is the bizarre way in which the sayings are organized, seemingly without any rhyme or reason. Scholars have searched for a structure, but nothing has been found. Until now!

The Thomas Code shows how the Gospel is organized using a mathematical formula and how the clues to this formula have been hiding in plain sight. The abundant evidence is set out simply and clearly with the help of diagrams. Remarkably, the Thomas Code is also the key to the miracle of the loaves and fishes and enables us to understand this miracle for the first time.

The Thomas Code shows a Gospel that delights in paradoxes and riddles. But this is not all. The Gospel of Thomas is structured to reach a climax at which a secret will be told. That secret is a shocking revelation about the nature of Jesus himself.

Includes a complete translation of the Gospel of Thomas organized and renumbered according to the Thomas Code.

S.P. Laurie studied mathematics at the University of Oxford and is the author of The Rock and the Tower.

  • Resonance : Guidelines to Superintelligent Artificial Intelligence - Paperback Cognitive Psychology

Resonance : Guidelines to Superintelligent Artificial Intelligence - Paperback Cognitive Psychology

Resonance attempts to answer every question related to interactions, life, the mechanics of consciousness, faith, origins, and all of reality.

Resonance is a book that details Princess Amber's Q-Resonance which is an attempt to build a comprehensive (and as accurate as possible) model of every form of Interaction in the universe, life, the mechanics of consciousness, faith, and basically everything involving the comprehension of all of reality in general.

Exploring the direction of time (irreversible changes) can help build a model of interaction that is based on nature for friendly Artificial Intelligence. By building a model of interaction based on nature, there can be AI that is close to humans.

Everything in the universe have consistent rules of interaction (rules of interaction that do not differentiate between living and non-living things). Resonance attempts to build a model of those rules of interaction (this includes detailing why people do the things they do, why anything happens in the universe at all, and if those things can also be applied to Artificial Intelligence and also help find a safe path to living with advancing technologies).

Resonance also attempts to model the points between living and non-living and what makes something conscious. Consciousness is possibly simply the manifestation of the ability for any forms of matter and/or energy to calculate and process the most optimal form of actions for Information Redistribution (a concept that is detailed in the book). Knowing that, a consistent model of interaction can be built for everything in the universe.

Instincts and emotions are the calculations themselves, and consciousness is simply the manifestation of those calculations. Identity associated with that consciousness is also another topic Resonance will explore.

Finally, what is faith? Resonance also explores the reasons for (and importance of) faith. The preview (look inside feature; kindle preview) of the book features the majority of systems Resonance works with.

Through exploring the nature of the universe, we can find a safe path towards the future for everyone and everything.

The “Seth Books” by Jane Roberts are world-renowned for comprising one of the most profound bodies of work ever written on the true nature of reality.

In this perennial bestseller, Seth shows readers how we create our personal reality through our conscious beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. Seth challenges our assumptions about the nature of reality, and stresses the individual’s capacity for conscious actions. Included in this book are excellent exercises for applying his empowering insights to any life situation.

“We are Gods couched in creaturehood. We are given the ability to form our experience as our thoughts and feelings become actualized…. Trust the miracle of your own being. Make no divisions between the physical and the spiritual in your lifetimes, for the spiritual speaks with a physical voice, and the corporeal body is the creation of the spirit.” — Jane Roberts, Speaking for Seth

The Grace in Aging : Awaken as You Grow Older by Kathleen Dowling Singh - Paperback

Encouraging, inspiring, and practical, The Grace in Aging invites all those who have ever experienced spiritual longing to awaken in their twilight years. Since aging, in and of itself, does not lead to spiritual maturity, The Grace in Aging suggests and explores causes and conditions that we can create in our lives, just as we are living them, to allow awakening to unfold—transforming the predictable sufferings of aging into profound opportunities for growth in clarity, love, compassion, and peace.

Kathleen Dowling Singh streamlines vast and complex teachings into skillful means and wise views. Straightforward language and piercing questions bring Singh’s teachings into the sharp focus of our own lives; the contemplative nature of each chapter allows for an uncommon depth of inquiry. Examples from our lives and from the chatter in our own minds touch the reader personally, offering the chance to absorb the implications deeply and do the work of freeing his or her own mind. Ecumenical in spirit, tone, and language, Singh offers wisdom from teachers from a variety of spiritual backgrounds: Chogyam Trungpa, the Apostles, Annie Dillard, and more. Lessening our attachments, decreasing our aversions, unbinding what binds us, we bear witness to the possibility of awakening for all beings.

The Grace in Aging offers guidelines for older individuals of any wisdom tradition who wish to awaken before they die; no need for caves or seven-year retreats. This is spiritual practice for the lives we live.

    Review

"In her wonderful book Kathleen Dowling Singh helps us to face and embrace the hard truth of the precarious nature of our life. With acceptance of this fact arises a deep appreciation of life's preciousness. Then we don't want to waste a minute. We are inspired to enter our lives fully. Through her skillful guidance we come to see that aging can be a time of grace and great aliveness." (Frank Ostaseski, Founder, Metta Institute, Co-Founder, Zen Hospice Project)

"I find Kathleen Dowling Singh's insight and wisdom compelling, readable, and life changing (Death changing too!). This book is indeed grace!" (Richard Rohr, author of Falling Upward, A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life)

"Kathleen Dowling Singh reveals the clear opportunities for spiritual awakening throughout the wonder and challenges of our aging process. The Grace in Aging is a practical guide into our psycho-spiritual dynamics that can be helpful at any age but is especially tuned to the trials of the later stages of our life. Kathleen leads us forward with such dignity and resolution that we become convinced that this phase of life holds a promise and a potential unlike any other. " (Rodney Smith, author of Lessons from the Dying)

"With her own special grace, Dowling Singh eases us into the foreshortened shelf life we all face as we age and approach death. This future is shorter than our past, but she optimistically shows how we can use it for the spiritual awakening we may have long sought. Wise and remarkably clear, The Grace in Aging can be a comfortable, easy and peaceful fit for our deepest and heartfelt seeking and a wonderful space for our impermanent minds to explore." (Jean Smith, author of Life Is Spiritual Practice)

"The inevitability of aging need not be a dismal, morbid scenario, but a glorious opening a to a gentle wisdom and peacefulness that the tempests of youth manage to obscure. Let Kathleen Dowling Singh be your guide in this extraordinary period of life, which can be a time of celebration instead of defeat." (Larry Dossey, MD, author of One Mind)

"In Kathleen Singh's luminous words, the hidden nature of old age as a practice stands fully revealed with all the potential for fulfillment of a true spiritual path. Don’t grow old without it." (Rachel Naomi Remen, MD, author of Kitchen Table Wisdom)

"In The Grace in Aging, Kathleen transposes into a new key all previous discussion of aging. Her book sings with both depth and grace, erudition and that insight born only of deeply sifted experience. All those who have woken up in the morning one day older than when they went to bed the night before owe her a debt of gratitude for pointing us toward that eternal Now, which reveals both life and death as single embrace of transforming Mystery." (Martin Laird, author of Into the Silent Land and A Sunlit Absence)

"Establishes guideposts in the fog for those seeking greater meaning and fulfillment as they edge toward life’s grand finale; Singh urges us to reclaim the process of aging. The impact is exhilaration." (Spirituality and Health)

"A bracing but gentle wake-up call for baby boomers, and indeed, anyone who wishes to understand and come to terms with the aging process and the universal impermanence of life itself." (Booklist)

"Readers of all ages can gain an awareness of the joy inherent in everyday moments large and small. Her calming and illuminating prose aims open readers' minds to live with compassion and wisdom, surrounded by truth." (Shelf Awareness)

Ship of Fools : How a Selfish Ruling Class Is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution by Tucker Carlson - Hardcover

The popular FOX News star of Tucker Carlson Tonight offers his signature fearless and funny political commentary on how America’s ruling class has failed everyday Americans.

“You look on in horror, helpless and desperate.
    You have nowhere to go.
You’re trapped on a ship of fools.”
    —From the Introduction

In Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution, Tucker Carlson tells the truth about the new American elites, a group whose power and wealth has grown beyond imagination even as the rest of the country has withered. The people who run America now barely interact with it. They fly on their own planes, ski on their own mountains, watch sporting events far from the stands in sky boxes. They have total contempt for you.

“They view America the way a private equity firm sizes up an aging conglomerate,” Carlson writes, “as something outdated they can profit from. When it fails, they’re gone.”

In Ship of Fools, Tucker Carlson offers a blistering critique of our new overlords. Traditional liberals are gone, he writes. The patchouli-scented hand-wringers who worried about whales and defended free speech have been replaced by globalists who hide their hard-edged economic agenda behind the smokescreen of identity politics. They’ll outsource your job while lecturing you about transgender bathrooms. Left and right, Carlson says, are no longer meaningful categories in America. “The rift is between those who benefit from the status quo, and those who don’t.”

Our leaders are fools, Carlson concludes, “unaware that they are captains of a sinking ship.” But in the signature and witty style that viewers of Tucker Carlson Tonight have come to enjoy, his book answers the all-important question: How do we put the country back on course?
